Hi readers,
Another week in January. I have had lots of calls this week and I feel it is a common theme that January has started with a bang. I think maybe with the way Christmas Day fell this year, everyone had a decent break and have come back ready to hit the ground running. I am loving the excitement of it but barely managing to keep on top of everything… We will get there!
I do find getting a couple of hours done 7-pm really helps, when the emails are quieter. I am open to any tips on focussing, send them my way!
We have 14 tickets left to sell for our Pally Talk event, which is getting sooner. I am so excited as you can probably tell by now.
Updates from this week
I’ve had some new ideas this week, so I have been working out how I will technically do these. But, this week has been a continuation of what we’re good at, building the community and posting updates on socials.
We’ve had some brilliant new blogs written by a variety of fantastic authors, so do head to our blog page to check these out.
Since our last newsletter, Pally Talk grew by 182 members!
This week, I had calls with:
- Kathy Soulsby to chat about all things VA. Kathy has built this enormous VA agency and written 2 books! I don’t know how she finds the time but we will have copies of Kathy’s books at our event and Kathy will also be featuring in one of our virtual co-working sessions on the 28th May.
- Joanne Webb – I connected with Jo on LinkedIn when looking for female communities. Jo runs The Girls Club – Network to support C-Suite & boardroom level females, it has now grown to 2,600 members and is an inspiration to Pally Talk! Both with the same goal of providing a safe space for like-minded professionals to support each other. I look forward to seeing where we can work together!
- Hedwig Hanna to discuss levelling up my branding photo & headshot collection! This is not in my comfort zone but needs must and the professional photo collection needs work so Hedwig and I will be hitting the streets in February to get some snaps taken!
- Ella Stoumann to chat about a really exciting partnership between Fortnums and Pally Talk, more details to be announced on this but guests to our next event will be treated to a surprise gift from Fortnums!
- Becca Bain to talk all things partnership. All to be revealed week after next! If you have any concierge enquiries in the meantime, please email concierge@pallytalk.com
- Had our first ever podcast recording with ✅ Shelley Fishel – FLPI CDOL COLF – episode will go live on the 8th April so we will be sure to share this. Thank you again!
Targets for next week
- Next week, Stephanie Foxley and me are visiting the event venue to finalise details – by the end of next week, everything needs to be booked in, paid & ready for the event.
- Enjoy my first networking event thanks to CuraConn and first co-working session with Jodie Mears FInstAM .
- Upload all new blogs.
- Announce the concierge partnership with Tye & Grace Lifestyle Management .
